How much does it cost to join 2WayStreet?

Artist membership costs £10 per month.

This includes:

A public artist profile on 2WayStreet
A shareable link for social media, email signatures and websites.
A professional online musical CV showcasing your bio, genres, media, and availability
Access to secure messaging and booking enquiries from venues and agents
From time to time, promotions and special offers may be available. These will appear on the homepage or be shared via digital marketing campaigns.

What is a public artist profile?

Your public profile acts as a professional online CV. You can share it with venues, event organisers, booking agents, promoters, and fans. Everything a booker needs to decide is in one place.

Your contact details remain hidden and venues will need to via the website messaging system.

How do I get paid as an artist?

While we're actively exploring future updates to handle artist payments directly through the platform, payment terms are currently arranged between the artist and the venue. If a payment system is implemented, you'll be notified via the website.

Many venues now request formal invoices. We highly recommend using Zoho Invoice. It's free, easy to use, and designed with freelancers in mind.

My Artist failed to show!

At 2WayStreet, we take our brand and community seriously. Every artist is verified before their profile becomes active to ensure quality and trust. While we cannot be held responsible for no-shows, venue admins have the option to report them directly through their dashboard.

If an artist fails to attend three bookings without prior notice, their account may be suspended following an investigation. We understand that life happens, we're all human but communication is key.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes. You can cancel at any time from your account. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

Can I re-subscribe if I cancel?

Yes. You can re-subscribe at any time. Your profile and booking history can be restored unless you request full account deletion.

Do you store my card details?

No. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. 2WayStreet does not store card details.

Can artists contact venues directly?

No and this is intentional. Artists cannot search for venues or send unsolicited messages. This protects venues from spam and cold-calling.

Artists can reply directly to enquiries and booking requests sent by venues or booking agents.

How do bookings work for artists?

Venues or agents contact artists through 2WayStreet using the secure messaging and booking system, keeping everything professional and in one place.

Who do I contact for support?

Support is available via the Contact / Support section of the website.

Is 2WayStreet GDPR compliant?

Yes. We operate in line with UK GDPR and take data protection seriously.

Will prices change in the future?

If pricing changes, users will be notified in advance. Where possible, existing subscribers may receive preferential rates.

Can booking agents use 2WayStreet?

Yes. Booking agents register as a venue, clearly identify themselves as a booking agent, and can browse artists and make enquiries through the platform.

Are agents required to disclose commissions or fees?

Yes. Agents must provide full disclosure of any commissions, booking fees, or arrangements when communicating with artists.

Do artists have to work with agents?

No. Artists are always free to work directly with venues, work with agents, or decline agent enquiries. 2WayStreet exists to create opportunities. The choice always remains with the artist.

Does it cost venues anything to use 2WayStreet?

No. Venue use is 100% free.

Venues can:
Register for free
Browse artist profiles
Message artists
Send booking enquiries
Manage communication securely through the platform
There are no subscription fees for venues.

Do bookings need to happen via email or social media?

No. 2WayStreet is designed so all communication and bookings happen within the platform, removing the need for emails, Instagram, Facebook, or WhatsApp.

Is 2WayStreet a booking agency?

No. 2WayStreet is a platform, not an agency. We provide tools to connect venues, artists, and agents directly.

Why does my public profile link go to a 404 error page or my profile image is blurred out?

This means your profile has been automatically disabled. The reason for this is normally misuse of our platform. This might be inappropriate images uploaded as profile pictures or the use of mobile numbers, email addresses or website addresses in your picture uploads, which the system periodically checks.

Can I turn off my public profile?

Yes, we fully understand that some people wish to be hidden from the public so if you wish, you can turn off your public profile at https://2waystreet.uk/artists/settings
